Chimesong aims for WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This is a design target, not a claim of independently verified conformance.

Accessibility features

The application includes semantic headings and landmarks, labelled controls, keyboard-operable forms and dialogs, visible focus styles, score text alongside color, and live announcements in selected flows. Decorative atmosphere is hidden from assistive technology.

Reduced-motion, Quiet Sky, low-performance, sound, and haptic preferences help adapt the experience. Sound and haptics are optional; essential meaning must remain available without them. History retains a chronological list, and insights include numerical chart alternatives.

What has been checked

Selected automated Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit flows cover keyboard interactions, enlarged text, reduced motion, responsive layouts, hydration, and automated accessibility rules. Automated checks and browser emulation do not establish complete WCAG conformance or real-device usability.

Acceptance still open

• Real screen-reader testing with VoiceOver, TalkBack, NVDA, and other relevant assistive technology has not been completed. No screen-reader/device combination is represented as certified.
• Human task-based usability acceptance remains open.
• Physical-device checks, including touch ergonomics and sustained-use behavior, remain open.
• Contrast, focus, zoom, and target-size checks on selected routes are not proof that every element on every route meets every criterion.
• Timed games can present additional accessibility barriers. Their keyboard alternatives need human evaluation.

Public-release acceptance remains pending these checks. We do not substitute automated Axe results for assistive-technology testing.
