Notice & action
EU Digital Services Act
This page records Chimesong's contact and reporting paths. It does not certify compliance with Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (the Digital Services Act). Applicable duties and operating procedures require review before public launch.
Point of contact
Name of operator: Esharive Joshua Akpevweoghene Location: Delta State, Nigeria Electronic point of contact for competent authorities and users: klarkkrampus@gmail.com Languages accepted for correspondence: English.
No EU legal representative is currently named. The operator must determine any representative requirement before offering the public service; the location of the principal market alone is not treated here as an exemption.
Reporting illegal content (notice-and-action)
Anyone — whether you have a Chimesong account or not — can report content they believe is illegal under EU or member-state law. Options:
- Signed in: Use the ⋮ menu on any post or comment → Report. Choose a reason. The report is created immediately.
- Not signed in: Send an email to klarkkrampus@gmail.com with:
- A link to the specific post or comment.
- A precise explanation of why you believe it is illegal (which law, which provision).
- Your name and email address (unless the notice concerns Art. 3(t) offences, in which case you can stay anonymous).
- A statement of good faith that the information in the notice is accurate.
We acknowledge every notice within 48 hours and act on it as fast as we can.
Statement of reasons
The application records moderation reasons and offers available recovery and appeal paths. Automatic email delivery is not established by this release. Before launch, the operator must verify a statement-of-reasons process covering:
- What content was affected.
- What action was taken.
- Whether the action was based on a legal notice or on our Community Guidelines — and which rule specifically.
- Whether the decision was made by a human or by automated means (or a mix).
- How to appeal, and by when.
If you receive one and disagree, reply to the email or write to klarkkrampus@gmail.com. Appeals are read by a human — currently by Esharive Joshua Akpevweoghene personally.
Trusted flaggers
Under DSA Art. 22, notices from Digital Services Coordinator-designated trusted flaggers are treated with priority. To request trusted-flagger recognition for a notice you have submitted, indicate this in the email subject: [TRUSTED FLAGGER].
Out-of-court dispute settlement
Under DSA Art. 21, EU users have the right to select a certified out-of-court dispute-settlement body to resolve disputes about our moderation decisions. The list of certified bodies is maintained by each member state's Digital Services Coordinator. Chimesong will engage in good faith with any DSA-certified body a user selects.
Transparency reporting
DSA Art. 15 requires annual transparency reports from hosting services. Chimesong has not yet published a first-year report — it hasn't launched yet. The first report will land at this URL after our first full calendar year of live operation and will include: total notices received, actions taken, out-of-court disputes, and any government-issued orders received.
Advertising
Chimesong does not display advertisements. DSA Arts. 26 and 28 obligations regarding ad transparency and profiling are therefore not applicable.
Recommender systems
Chimesong's authenticated Feed offers Newest, Popular, and Discussed sorting. These are not personalized recommendations. This implementation description does not determine the service's legal classification.
